This PRINCE2® Foundation & Practitioner course is designed to give participants a thorough understanding of the principles and practical application of the widely recognised PRINCE2® (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) project management methodology.
Delivered in-house according to your specific organisational needs, the full programme lasts 5 days and gives participants the opportunity to take both the Foundation and Practitioner examinations. Following the Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2 manual, the Foundation portion of the course covers basic PRINCE2 principles, management products, roles and processes, as well as its benefits and overall objectives.
The Practitioner section then builds on this knowledge by giving delegates an understanding of how PRINCE2 can be tailored to specific project scenarios.
Organisations can choose to deliver just one of the two levels of training, which lasts 3 days for the Foundation Certification and 2 days for the Practitioner Certification.

Delegates must complete the Foundation qualification before moving on to the Practitioner level.
There are 2 levels to this qualification; Foundation and Practitioner.
The first 3 days of the course cover the syllabus and exam for the Foundation level. The exam consists of a 1 hour multiple-choice paper, with 75 questions (5 of which are trial questions and thus not market). The pass mark is 50%.
Candidates who undertake the Practitioner level will need to confirm you have achieved sufficient understanding of how to apply and tailor PRINCE2 in a scenario situation. The Practitioner exam is a a 2.5-hour paper consisting of 8 questions, with 10 items per question (each worth one mark). The official PRINCE2 manual may be taken into the exam and candidates need a minimum of 55% correct answers to pass.
