Course description

L3 Award in Education and Training: This course is for anyone who would like to teach adults (post 19) within the further education and skills sector.
You will cover a 3 units that will prepare you for the role of a tutor. You will examine the theoretical context of the tutor role, focusing on the legislation and regulations that you will need to be aware of. You will then examine an understanding of and practical application of inclusive learning and principles of assessment. You will also complete a 30 minute micro to demonstrate the practical application of your skills.
You will learn through a wide range of learning activities, including small group work, interactive activities and peer assessment.
No specific equipment is required for this course. Purchasing of a supporting text book is optional.
