Do you enjoy drawing and designing garments and accessories, as well as the challenge of bringing your ideas to life through making? The Textiles Fashion course will encourage you to develop a creative and experimental approach to contemporary fashion design and garment making. You will learn how to develop innovative solutions to a fashion design brief through in-depth research, experimentation and sample making. Your personal creativity and interests will be reflected through the opportunity to design garments for the worlds of couture fashion, costume and accessory design.
Students must hold 5 GCSEs at grade C or above in appropriate subjects. Successful A Level students would normally achieve grade A or B in a number of relevant GCSE subjects.
